The City Administrator is responsible for implementing policies established by the Mayor and City Council, coordinating functions with City Departments and representing the City in dealings with other governmental units and agencies.


The position provides general staff assistance to the Mayor and City Council, advising of problems, needs and policy alternatives; acts as liaison between the Mayor and City Council and various elected and appointed officials, boards and commissions; develops and monitors systems and strategies to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Board.


The Administrator oversees the day-to-day operations as set forth in policies set by the Mayor and City Council.


The Administrator is responsible for Economic Development in the City.
